Activist
As the result of the injustice and absolute travesties Lisa has experienced
in the Florida courts, she, along with several other mothers and concerned
women, formed a local courtwatch group called "FACTs" in 2003,
so that other women and mothers going through inequitable and troubling
family cases with the court system and various governmental entities have
others to turn to for assistance. Since founding "FACTs", they
have been able to effectively employ a Courtwatch system. "FACTs"
has more than 70 volunteers and has seen amazing results for numerous individuals
who were inescapably intertwined into the legal web of the court system.
Lisa has spoken throughout South Florida on behalf of "FACTs",
as an activist for women's and children's issues and for court and legislative
reforms in litigated and mediated cases as well as collaborative divorce. She was appointed as a board member in 2004 of the NNFLP,
the National Network of Family Law and Policy, a non-profit
think tank and coalition of professionals, organizations and activist groups
in the fields of law, psychology and academia.

groups and advocacy for appropriate reforms in family law legislation.
